Independent Hyster distribution partner, Kotschenreuther in Germany, celebrated its ten year anniversary in July 2012 with an event at the company headquarters.

Founded in the Upper Franconia region, in the state of Bavaria, Southern Germany, as a sub dealer of Zeppelin, Kotschenreuther is a family business, run by Franz Kotschenreuther and his two sons, Jochen and Rudolph.

In 1996 Jochen Kotschenreuther became a salesman for former Hyster distribution partner, TFG Nürnberg, where his father and brother were both employed as mechanics. Due to organisation changes, the family decided to start their own business in 2002.

To accompany the wide range of new and used Hyster equipment from warehouse products to container handlers Kotschenreuther also provides a 24 hour spare parts service, maintenance and full service contract and operator training.
