The ‘Kanoo-GLRC Lifters’ basketball team in Saudi Arabia is gearing up to defend the championship title, for the annual Eastern Region OFW Heroes Challenge Cup 2012.

Sponsored by Hyster Company and its local distribution partner, Kanoo, the team vest features the Hyster brand and a Hyster ReachStacker slamdunking a basketball. The team is made up of a mix of players from GLRC, Kanoo Machinery and staff from industries that use Hyster rental forklifts. 

Last year the Kanoo-GLRC Lifters beat 17 other teams in the Philippine Arabia Basketball Association (PABA) to win the cup.

This successful team effort reflects the strong relationship between Hyster and local Arabian distribution partner, Kanoo Machinery (formerly GLRC), supplying tough and dependable Hyster equipment to numerous customers across the Middle East region.
